About Me

Ryland Balbin

Local photographer born and raised on the island of Kauai. I have some background in Graphic Design, but found my passion in photography. Started my photography journey in the beginning of 2019 where I learned different techniques from different people. Went from doing portraits to landscape and then started to focus on wildlife.

I decided to work on wildlife so that I can document the animals that I come across, which is how I created the name Archive Wild. Right now, I am photographing animals in Hawaii, but I would like to eventually archive animals from everywhere.
